NDIA has opened registrations for ILC face-to-face consultation sessions in NSW

We received the following email from the Information, Linkages and Capacity Building Team about feedback for the ILC Commissioning Framework

The National Disability Insurance Agency has opened registrations for Information, Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) face-to-face consultation sessions in New South Wales in April 2016.

At the end of last year the NDIA released a consultation draft of the ILC Commissioning Framework. The Framework outlines how the Agency will fund and manage ILC activities in the future.

Before the NDIA finishes the Framework, the NDIA would like to talk more with people with disability, their families and carers as well as people who work in the sector about some key parts of the Framework.

There are two ways people can provide feedback on the Framework:

  • You can attend a face-to-face consultation session in Sydney or Dubbo
  • You can make a written submission

The NDIA will be hosting consultation sessions for:

  • People with disability, families and carers
  • Organisations that provide ILC-type activities

Please note in order to attend a NSW consultation session you must register via the online booking on the NDIS website. Numbers are limited so please register as soon as possible.

Please register for the appropriate consultations session on the ILC Commissioning Framework – Consultation page

Location People with disability, families and carers consultation session
Sydney Wednesday the 6th of April

10am – 1pm

Sydney Thursday the 7th of April

10am – 1pm

Dubbo Friday the 8th of April

12: 30pm – 3:30pm

The NDIA understand that not everyone will be able to attend a face-to-face session. For that reason the NDIA encourage everyone who wants to participate to make a written submission.

Organisations and individuals can provide written feedback using the ILC feedback document and to email it to the ILC mailbox ILC@ndisgov.au . Written will be accepted up until 5pm Friday the 22nd of April 2016.

You may answer one question or all of the questions. The NDIA want to hear from as many people as possible.

Kind regards,

Information, Linkages and Capacity Building Team
