Our Three New Peer Groups for 2025

Our three new peer groups, guided by our Lived Experience Facilitators, are safe spaces for people with physical disability, and parents and carers of people with disability, to engage with others who understand where they are coming from, to support one another, grow and learn together, build lasting friendships, and lead and contribute to the group and wider community.

In Good Company

Our social peer group for people with physical disabilities

What’s possible when connections become friendships?

In Good Company creates breathing space, where you can relax, be yourself and enjoy good company with others who truly understand your journey.

Meeting monthly in Sydney*, our in-person social gatherings and group-nominated activities focus on genuine connection and enjoyment, providing you with a refreshing break in a welcoming, accessible environment.

Whether you’re sharing a laugh over coffee, enjoying an activity together, or simply being in the company of others who ‘get it’ – In Good Company nurtures the social bonds that truly sustain us.

The ultimate goal of In Good Company is to create a vibrant social community where people with physical disabilities can transform isolation into belonging, everyday interactions into meaningful friendships, and casual gatherings into a reliable social network – enhancing your quality of life through the simple but powerful act of connection.

Kindred Parents

Our dynamic peer group for parents of children with disabilities

Are you ready to flourish?

What if you could experience both support and inspiration in one place?

Kindred Parents is a welcoming circle of parents who truly understand your journey that can offer you both support and inspiration in one place.

Meeting monthly in Sydney*, it’s more than just a support group – it’s fuelled with intentional growth, empowerment, shared leadership and transformation, beyond just parenting.

At the heart of our peer group is Nicole, who brings 18 years of lived experience parenting her child with disability. She intuitively understands that the most fulfilling journey involves growing both as an individual with unique passions and interests and simultaneously evolving as a parent.

Our ultimate goal for our Kindred Parents group is to create a community where parents of children with disabilities can transform isolation into belonging, challenges into wisdom, and ideas into action – creating meaningful change in their own lives and the lives of others.

If you would like to join our parent peer group, apply now as spaces are limited.

Please submit your Kindred Parents Application Form by Monday 5 May 2025.

*Please note: the location of the Sydney-based peer group will be determined by the suburb most convenient to the majority of the group members.

We are proudly delivering projects for the Peer Support and Capacity Building (PSCB) grant for the NDIS. Together we’re ensuring that people with disability keep accessing supports to build their skills and connect with others who have shared similar experiences.
