Are you an NDIS participant, or do you care for someone with an NDIS plan? Have you experienced difficulty accessing services?
We’d like to hear about your experiences with the NDIS, to assist us with a report we’re preparing for the Department of Social Services (DSS) and National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
The report is on “thin markets” in the NDIS. Thin markets occur when available services do not meet the needs of participants, for example in rural or regional areas. It can also mean a lack of availability of a particular service, or difficulty accessing a service for a certain group of people.
We’d like you to let us know:
- What barriers do you face in accessing services?
- What services do you need that aren’t available in your area?
- Are there unused funds in your NDIS package because services aren’t available?
If you would like to provide feedback, please complete our online survey. You can contact Alice Dixon-Wilmshurst on 1800 688 831 or alice.wilmshurst@pdcnsw.org.au if you require the survey in a more accessible format, or if you’d like to provide answers over the phone.
We’ll leave the survey open until Sunday 12th May.
Thank you for your continued support of PDCN.
