The Greater Sydney Commission was established in January 2016 to lead metropolitan planning for Greater Sydney.
Since their establishment, they have been talking with and listening to people with a vast range of expertise and interests.
This collaboration has informed their preparation of draft District Plans that will connect local planning with metropolitan planning for Greater Sydney. The Greater Sydney Commission will soon release these plans as drafts for discussion and feedback, and they will be on an extended public exhibition until the end of March 2017.
Their ambition is to create a strong global city that is a great place to live, meaning Greater Sydney becomes more liveable, productive and environmentally sustainable.
