We need your help to better understand the needs of the community to make a submission to an upcoming review of the NSW Residential Tenancy Act 2010.
This review of the Act aims to investigate the regulation of residential tenancies in NSW to determine how this legislation is working, and identify legislative reform where required.
Section 227 of the Act identifies a requirement for this legislation to be reviewed every five years to identify improvements and concerns.
The Act includes social housing tenancy agreements and private residential tenancy, however this survey and the State Government inquiry only includes tenancies in the private rental market and the tenancy agreement associated with an accommodation premise.
