PDCN has been advised by Transport for NSW of the temporary closure of the Carrington Street Lift at Wynyard Railway Station for replacement.
The lift servicing the Concourse, Mid-level and Carrington Street, on the western (Wynyard Park) side of Wynyard Railway Station is in need of urgent replacement. The new lift will be installed in the same location. Please note escalators from Carrington Street will remain operational during the works.
The lift will be closed for works from 18th January 2016 to 3rd April 2016.
Alternative access for lift users
- George Street entry to Wynyard station.
- The nearest alternative railway stations are:
- Town Hall,
- Circular Quay, and
- Martin Place.
