Full membership with PDCN is free for all people with a physical disability, and representatives of people with physical disability who are under sixteen years old. All other individuals are welcome to join as Associate Members for an annual fee of $37. We also encourage membership from businesses, non-profit organisations and other stakeholders that are committed to systemic advocacy which furthers the rights of people with disability across New South Wales.
The feedback we receive from people who take up membership is that they value the sense of belonging they feel as members of our organisation. Our independence and expertise allow people to get on with their lives while we work on the issues that affect them. This takes a huge stress off their lives and the lives of their families.
As a member of PDCN you will occasionally be contacted about voluntary opportunities to participate in consultations and research about issues which directly affect you. Your input enables us to make full representation of the views and needs of people with disability as we prepare submissions to government on policy and legislation.
Membership also provides an easy channel for you to proactively contact us about systemic issues and problems you experience, which we are often able to feedback to government via the various committees and groups we sit on. We also consider the issues you raise when determining our priorities and strategic plan.

- Full Members with disability and non-profit organisations have the right to vote in Special General Meetings and Annual General Meetings.
- All members receive our exclusive quarterly PDCN Live newsletter, as well as monthly email newsletters.
- Full Members and Associate Members have the opportunity to become a PDCN Board member should a vacancy arise.
Please note that paid membership (for Associate Members, organisations and corporates) is valid until 30 June each year (end of financial year) at which stage we will email you asking you to renew. However, if you take up membership between 1 April and 30 June, we will waive the following financial year’s membership fee and extend your membership through to the following financial year at no additional cost.
